Chris or "Hama" is a facilitator of health and wellness, here to offer a supportive layer to the relationship with yourself through compassionate touch, pure intention, and clear communication. He graduated from the Emeryville National Holistic Institute’s 800-hour massage therapy and health educator program with honors, gaining a knowledge of the body and its integral systems while also learning modalities from both eastern and western origins. Allowing for a more unique and holistic approach to each client’s needs and expectations. While in school he studied ancient healing arts of Hawaii known as Lomi Lomi, this interest turned into an allurement that brought him to the Big Island in search of a kumu (teacher). He was accepted to receive the teachings of multiple kumus the first being Jeana Iwalani Naluai who created the Ho’omana style from her collective knowledge of six different lineages. The second being Jody Mountain who passes on the teachings of Kahu Abraham Kawa’i through the Ancient Lomi Lomi style. With this variety of knowledge his style incorporates Lomi Lomi, Zen Shiatsu, Myofascial Techniques, Swedish, and Deep Tissue
